Anyone with a P6X58D Premium?

I own both an asus p6t Deluxe v2 and an asus p6x58d premium motherboard. I'm seeing something that's striking me as odd....

on my asus p6t deluxe v2, there is a block of metal on there that says "ASUS" and lights up bright white. My p6x58d also has this block of metal that says "ASUS". The only difference is that the p6x58d does not light up like the p6t deluxe v2...

Does anyone else not have lights for that? I would assume that would light up, along with the"extreme phase" in blue. But again, I've never seen it light up so im asking any of you owners if you have this?

I wouldn't worry about it, unless the motherboard isn't working properly. The light is most likely for decorative purposes, which is normal on a "high-end" mobo like the P6T deluxe V2.
