Are two 80mm fans better than one 120mm?

Well the question is basically what I have called the thread. Are two 80mm fans better than one 120mm?

Can you link to the fans? It'll depend on how much air the 80 and 120MM fans push and whether your bothered about noise.

Lol... how strange both fans have the same CFM at the same RPM, pretty unbelievable.

If the specs are true (unlikely) then you'd be much better off with 2 x 80MM as you'd get twice the airflow compared to the 120MM fan.

The trouble with fans is that the makers of fans can do their own testing to come up with the airflow and noise values, so you can't always compare one fan to another as they would be tested in different ways

You tend to get what you pay for with fans, for example the fan below will kick out a ridiculous amount of air, but obviously its expensive and extremely loud.
