Ok, guys I have a Corsair TX750w power supply,

, there are the specs, 60amps on a single 12v rail. I have a i7-920 cpu, 6x1gb ddr3 1333 ram, 1 hard drive, 1 dvdrw drive, 2 case fans, current gpu is hd 4850, I want to hold out and wait for the hd 5870 x2 instead of going for the mediocre stuff. Do you think my PSU will be able to handle the x2 or even crossfire 5870?

the 5870X2 (or 5970 which ever it's called) won't use over 300W, that's the max allowed in Jedec standard for pci-e cards, you'll be fine. Crossfired 5870s will be just fine as well.

i would recommend 5850x2 or 5950, because monitors cant display over 60 fps.
