Hi,

I have the Arctic Freezer Pro 7 rev. 2 CPU cooler, and I was wondering how I would get it to run at it's max speed. I recently got the Gigabyte P45 UD3P mobo and can't seem to run it at 2500 RPM, but 1900 only. My friend has the older version of this cooler and his runs at 2500 RPM. I have tried everything from disabling SMARTFAN in the bios and/or switching PWM on, but nothing changes. :/

Any help would be lovely. Thanks!

You won't notice any significant difference between 1900 and 2500 rpm. I prefer the lower speeds for quiet systems. The cpu temps can run up to 60c without any problems at the default voltage. I never increase the cpu voltage for overclocking, as it can shorten the cpu life.
