ASUS P6T Deluxe v2 silly internal speaker question

Mega silly question and i am not a noob ether. On the motherboard speaker connection its | +5 | ground | ground | Speaker | . i thought +5 was a constant voltage. i have tried ground and speaker still no beep after post. i would imagine if i attach it to +5 the speaker coil will heat up. witch two pins is it supposed to go to.

Dont matter having +5 on it thew me off, it is normally just a + sign.
