Help/asus m3n72 d motherboard

I connected all conections on motherboard I turned on the power and the motherboard light is green, Pushed the front power button fan, the central processing unit fan atarted. the keyboard lights flashed. No mouse reconized What am I doing wrong? Any help is appreciated. My email address is frank2925@verizon.net

Try building outside the case with beeper, power, mobo and CPU. Listen for beeps, keep adding components and listening for beeps.
