Hi guys. this is my PC configuration that i'm planning to buy. My work is in the field of Multimedia so i use a lot of ADOBE and MATLAB most for Image and Video Processing.

My Spec:
Intel i7-920-1
Asus P6T SE (x58)-1
G.Skill DDR3 SDRAM 6GB(1600Mnz)-2
Western Digital Velcoty Raptor 1000orpm 150 GB-1 (replace: Samsung 2.5 SSD SATA2 64GB[R:220/W:170]) almost same price
Seagate Baraacudi 7200 rpm 750Gb - 2
GeForce GTX275 CUDA Enabled PCI_E-1 (replace: [Leadtek]Quadro FX580 D3 512MB ZalmanVF2000 PCI-E or ATI FirePro V3750 D3 256MB PCI-E ]
Element S case - 1
Samsung DVD-Multi - 1
Zalman CNPS Quiet CPU cooler-1
Zalman ZM750 Powersupply-1

Thanks for the replies. From the posts i have now decided to go for SAMSUNG SSD instead of RAPTOR and QUADRO VGA..Keep the post coming.. hopefully i will soon have the fastest running PC... Thanks guys...much appreciated..

sway your swap your veloci for a black and put the extra money into the best workstation card you can get quaddro or fire doesn't matter

your storage drives should be stripped as well so you'll need to be able to back up or archive your raw material externally

I selected "EDIT THIS MESSAGE" option on the bottom right corner. Once inside there is a RADIO BUTTON saying DELETE THIS THREAD COMPLETELY.. So just select that option and it will be removed.. cheers..

I'm planning to replace the Raptor with this SSD hard drive..

Western Digital Velcoty Raptor 1000orpm 150 GB-1 -> Samsung 2.5 SSD SATA2 64GB[R:220/W:170].

Almost the same price but i guess perofrmance should be better. Problem is its only 64 GB. I guess it should be enough for Windows 7 + other softwares..But performance is 3x times better..

As for Quadro I couldn't find one that i could fit within the 2500 USD budget.. Most quadro available are over 750 USD.

Only QUADRO in range was this one

[Leadtek]Quadro FX580 D3 512MB ZalmanVF2000 PCI-E -> 350 USD

Thanks..
