consider a workstation card very seriously if you don't' intent to game
more storage?? i have 71 gig of raw video by the time i am done editing that project will be another 100gig 150gig and then another 19gig for the master copies. space goes fast with video that just for 2 dvd's worth of home video
thanks.. sorry abot the double post.. i'm new to this website and posted in the CPU forum first before i found this more appropriate forum. Will find a way to remove them.. appreciate your help.
Any suggestion of workstation card... thats also only part i'm not so sure of. any suggestion would be welcome.. as for the hard drive i will try to upgrade to 2* 1 TB within the budget. Thanks.
I selected "EDIT THIS MESSAGE" option on the bottom right corner. Once inside there is a RADIO BUTTON saying DELETE THIS THREAD COMPLETELY.. So just select that option and it will be removed.. cheers..
I'm planning to replace the Raptor with this SSD hard drive..
Western Digital Velcoty Raptor 1000orpm 150 GB-1 -> Samsung 2.5 SSD SATA2 64GB[R:220/W:170].
Almost the same price but i guess perofrmance should be better. Problem is its only 64 GB. I guess it should be enough for Windows 7 + other softwares..But performance is 3x times better..
As for Quadro I couldn't find one that i could fit within the 2500 USD budget.. Most quadro available are over 750 USD.
Thanks again. I'm located in S.Korea and only have access to few Quadro and Fire series. But still i have modified the hard drive and replaced it with a advanced WORKSTATION/
