APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: End of the month November 2nd (PAYDAY)

SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: WoW, TF2, Movies, general internet crap, DVD burning

PARTS NOT REQUIRED: (e.g.: keyboard, mouse, monitor, speakers, OS) OS, Keyboard, Mouse

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: Anything reliable COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: US - South Central VA

PARTS PREFERENCES: Don't care, it can be ugly.

OVERCLOCKING: Maybe (but I don't know how) SLI OR CROSSFIRE: Maybe (I want 2 monitors but perhaps SLI 1 monitor and get a 3rd card for the other?)

MONITOR RESOLUTION: 1280X1024 and up

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: I want a good computer that will last, dual monitors, but I also want a sound system. I'm not sure if it's worth it to go for a premade 5.1 computer set up, or to go the monitor + speakers route. My college laptop is about to die, (purchased in summer of '05) so I think now that I have a job, it's time to upgrade/buy myself a birthday present/celebrate. I already have 2 external HDs that are USB 2, a 1 TB and a 280 GB.

It would also need a wireless network card, and good airflow (I live in a basement at a lake house). Also I DON'T WANT BLUERAY!

If you want some bigger monitors, or perhaps to upgrade to a HD5870, you have the budget to do so. For the games you play, I don't think the HD5870 is worth it, and you could step up to some full 1080P monitors.
