Usb aopen keyboard will not type

using windows xp with Aopen keyboard, keyboard will not type

Are you able to get into BIOS at boot ? Does it give you a KB error on the Post screen ?
You may need to enable Legacy USB or USB Keyboard on your system in BIOS.
Go to control panel, system, hardware, device manager, does the kb show up, do you have a question mark next to it ? Try getting a KB driver from AOpen website.
If all fails, just get another KB.
