Hey there guys .. I now have enough money to EITHER buy an ATI sapphire 5770 DDR5 1GB OR crossfire an ATI 4850 1GB Vapor-X card or upgrade my CPU to a Phenom 2 X4 955..

my current specs is :

AMD Athlon 2 x2 245 2.9ghz am3
Asus M4a785TD-V Evo
Tagan stone rock 600W
ATI 4850 Vapor-x 1GB
Mushkin DDR3 2gb
Kingston DDR3 2gb
Windows 7 Ultimate
Samsung 320GB HDD
HAF 932

So guys .. is CF-ing 2 4850 Vapor-x 1GB worth it ?? or upgrading my CPU to a phenom 2 quad ?? which will give me a more performance boost ??

My PSU wattage >>.. +3.3v/24A | +5v/30A | +12V1/22A | +12V2/22A | -12v/0.5a | +5vsb/2.5a total = 600W .. the 12v1 and 12v2 = 528 watts ..

I usually run games like COD4/L4D/L4D2 on Full Reso 1920x1080 and games like FC2/crysis/prototype at 1280 coz of the lag .. Im running on an Acer P225HQ (21.5")

From most games, better gpu's will give better results than better cpus. Although if you had the money i would try to get at a tri core cpu (like phenom II x3 720). That way the game runs on 2 cores and the third core is running the drivers for the gpu(s) / os background activities.

I recommend a tri core becuase you dont gain very much FPS from tri to quad core cpus but you do gain a decent amount of FPS from dual to tri core cpus on some to most games.
