Ram upgrade

last night i installed 12G of DDR3 1333mhz RAM in my Alienware Aurora. on boot up it gives me two beeps. is it the wrong memory?

please help

You can log in on windows? You can see the 12GB in the BIOS?

no you cannot boot.RAM is seated properly all connections ok.

Did you make sure the System is compatible with the ram you installed?

DDR 3 1333 mhz 2 G dimms Non ECC. i think that may be the problem, whether or nor ECC

^Isn't the problem. The Non ECC is the most common RAM for desktop systems.

Could also be the speed, i installed 1333mhz, alienware says that 1067mhz is more compatible. Alienware has encountered problems from manufacturers of RAM running 1333mhz. i will exchange my 1333mhz for 1067. with 12 g it shouldnt make that much difference

No, i have Six memory slots ,max 24G of 1067 RAM or 12 G of 1333/1600 Ram
