So I am days away from pressing the buy button at Newegg for all my shiny new parts. I will be overclocking the AMD FX 8120 I am getting and I was curious as to my heat sink choice.

I am planning to get a Cooler master hyper 212 EVO. My question is, what would be the difference in me getting a cheap water cooler compared to the hyper? Cheap as in a 40-60 dollar water cooler.

Would it even be worth it unless I went with a more expensive water cooler or just stick with the hyper?

if this is a gaming build.... dont buy AMD bulldozer series, you would, quite frankly, be wasting your money when you can have better performance in an intel build
