[Solved] Navigation to the webpage was canceled

I don't know the real sub category I need to list but I am having problems with solving the problem in the thread title above. I disabled ie and use firefox and now every time I try to move around on the net I get the same massage: Navigation to the webpage was canceled. How can I cure the problem.m

First off, it is not necessary to disable anything. YOu can run several browsers. - Not knowing HOW you DISABLED, I suggest enable it.

I don't know how to re enable IE, but when it was enabled it would jump in front of firefox like a child getting of the line. That's the way IE works, it some times stacks up one behind the other.
 

Never happened to me during years of having both FF & IE installed.

If this is a recent happening, Windows restore to date prior to issue may solve the problem. If not, Uninstall both browsers, then reinstall the one you want to use. Personally, I find Firefox much quicker & reliable on XP.
