i'm planning to build a gaming computer within the next few months and atm im researching and learning what will work best for me. ive dealt with single HD for a good while but i was wandering as far as speed and practicality goes what would be best for gaming?
If you can afford a SSD.. windows 7 will take up at least 20gb max.. and each games average 7-8gb.. could be more lol I keep them on my external HDD so I never bother checking I wouldn't go for the OCZ.. I would purchase a Crucial m4 instead: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
I too am trying to set up a Gaming System and I am really unfamiliar with SSD drives at all. Would I be putting my OS, MS Office, and Games on the SSD 128g drive (rather a small drive?) and use the 1TB drive for other stuff? My build which I intend to purchase this week would be listed below
