Memory for Dell XPS 410

Hello all,

I am looking for a 4GB kit for my Dell XPS 410. It was purchased in 2006 and the specs are listed below. Nothing from the computer has been changed except the video card.

So basically I just want to know what 4GB memory kit would be best for this motherboard. Also would I be able to use a memory kit with speeds of over 800mhz?

  2. Ok cool, are you sure I will be able to use this with the mobo I have? I went on g.skill's site but their memory configurator is screwed up
  3. Yes that kit should work just fine. Even if you do the Buy it Now for 75.00 is a good deal.
  4. Cool cool, just one more question, I bought a 2Gb kit from Corsair last year and it didn't work. I did some research and found out that the kit was ECC, which apparently isn't supported by this mobo. Are both these kits ECC or non-ECC?
  5. They are both non ecc. ECC is for servers it stands for Error Correction Code. ECC memory will also be way more expensive.
