I bought 2 x 2GB of DDR2 800MHz from USA but I could not get the Dimm to work with Abit AB9 Pro. Can anybody suggests to resolve the problem? On power up the screen is blanK and error C0 is shown.

Check the voltage requirements of the new memory. If it requires more than 1.8 volts, you may have to reinstall your old memory, up the voltage in the BIOS using the manual option for the memory voltage control to the voltage required of the new memory, shut down, and then install the new memory.
Try resetting the BIOS.
You can also try with only 1 stick to see if you can get it to post, and go from there.

I bought the 2G DDR2 800 from smilentango@gmail.com through ebay.com. I could not recognise the brand but the following alphabets are engraved into chip:

LDBR
8RE22
D9HMW

The Abit AB9 Pro error is C1 not C0 and it will not boot up

I used the old 1Gb DDR2 to boot up and then changed the DDR voltage to 2.1 and 800Mhz for DDR2 instead of SPD but the computer will not boot up after I replaced the 1GB Dimm with the 2GB Dimm DDR2 800 in the first dim slot.
Please help!
