Gaming Build (up to $1000)

It's been a long time since I built my own system (about 6-7 years), so I need your help.

APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: between now and end of the year (most likely within the next month)

BUDGET RANGE: $1000 max. I prefer to not have to reach the max - just want to have something sensible.

SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Gaming: RPG (upcoming Diablo 3), RTS, maybe occasional FPS or race simulator - nothing too performance crazy. Movie watching.

PARTS NOT REQUIRED: monitor (currently have some basic 24" samsung), might change that in the future, but would like to reuse for now.

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: newegg or any other reputable dealer

OVERCLOCKING: Maybe (if it's relatively easy to do)

Other considerations - prefer something quiet, though doesn't have to be.

Thanks in advance.
