Wireless Connection

I have a home network with other computers logged onto the Internet but have a new (old) computer I am trying to get onto the Internet with and it only shows two other wireless networks in the area (with weak signals) but not this one in the house, yet all other computers do?

Maybe your new (old) computer has a B wireless adapter and your router is G?

Hey Grumpy at least you get to go to work, I am in forced retirement at 61! Anyway what I have on that old Dell that did have ME OS but I installed XP is a Linksys Network PC card that has on a rare occasions shown my home network but has never been able to connect to it. It mostly only will show others wireless connections in the area. I did try use the Ethernet line but that too did not work?

Did you install the correct drivers for both NICs?
