AMD Phenom II X2 550

Hey guys, i recently went overbudget on my gaming build due to the fact that I lost my old copy of vista, and now have to buy windows 7. I Downscaled my processor from an AMD phenom IIx4 955, to AMD Phenom II X2 550, and I was wondering if i will still have great gaming performance. I Want to play shooting games like Modern warfare 2, age of empires, fallout 3, far cry 2, etc. My Graphics card is this ;

Also i'm not running 2 monitors, and the one monitor i have isnt really fancy or anything.

Can anybody who's familiar with this CPU please give me an idea of how close it's gaming performance is to the 955BE?
