Building a new system around an LGA 775 CPU and DDR2 RAM doesn't make a lot of sense because they're both nearing EOL. You'll have a much better upgrade path with an AM3/DDR3 build.

Why is the GPU so much? $225 for a 512MB 4870? Look a bit more for the $150 ones. XCLIO PSUs are junk, get a better one. Only other issue I see is the ECS mobo. I'm not sure how good it is. You might want to look for reviews.

Sorry forgot to mention, but the AS ceramique you have listed is for permanent mountings only (it means that you'll have a hell of a time removing your heatsink if you ever upgrade, or rebuild). It's actually designed for gpus and chipsets that don't get replaced very often.
You won't need it anyway if you use the stuff that comes pre-applied on the heatsink (it's not that bad, btw). Especially if you get the AC fan, the thermal paste on the bottom is equivalent to AS 5.
will this dvd burner work ok
I cant afford the ripjaw memory yet so im going to purchase this kind instead
i know its not as good but ill upgrade later
but will this kind work ok with my system
and is the video card i picked a good enough or is there a better one for around the same price
ok i changed out the dvd burner and memory how can i make my desktop run cooler if i plan to oc
the case doesnt have anymore fan slots
how can i cool off all the parts i dont mean a heatsink for cpu or something
i mean like adding an extra fan to the case to get better ventilation or somethink like that i can spend max of 50 on it
Extra case fan's won't help very much with cooling an overclocked CPU, though. You should get an aftermarket CPU cooler if you're wanting to play around with overclocking.
That's basically the difference. The one I linked also doesn't come with an Intel CPU backplate. It's the best option for an AMD build since it's cheaper and actually cools slightly better than the Dark Knight. The coating on the Dark Knight actually slightly reduces it's cooling capability.
