Cpu upgrade for an Ati 5770?

Hey guys.

I've pretty much decided on a 5770, as it appears the perfect card for me.
However, I now realise that my CPU is a little underpowered (AII 2.7x2).

Does anyone have suggestions as to what I should get?
I'd prefer 95W, as I currently only have 3 120mm fans, to allow for some oc'ing headroom.
Currently, my eye is on this one: http://www.ebuyer.com/product/173368
AII x4 2.6 Ghz, which will aparently oc to ~3Ghz.

However, is there a better cpu there?
I'd prefer to spend <£90, and not go over 90W.

Suggestions/Ideas?
Thanks in advance

There is basically no better cpu than the X4 620 on price performance so that's the one you want. With a minor overclock it should be a perfect match for the 5770.

A 720 X3 is worth considering if you just plan on gaming.

Your Athlon II X2 is way enough for a simple card like the 5770... I don't see the fuzz of changing cpu... you will lose money for absolutely nothing.

You will only see the difference between a better cpu and yours if you put two 5770 in crossfire.

Agree.

Ok, I had a look athe the x3 720.

I think since the most CPU intensive task I do is video conversion, getting a tri shouldn't be a problem.
Also, will the L3 give me any advantage over just L2?
