PSU CORSAIR CMPSU-850HX (179,99 CND$, first choice) or 750HX (is unavailable) or CMPSU-750TX (wondering if the 750TX at 129,99 CND$ is a good pick for the price)

PSU: 850HX far in excess of what you actually need. FX1800 doesn't even require a PCI-e power connector.
FX1800 = 400~450W PSU FX3800=500~550W PSU

CPU/MB: Core i7 860 and P55 MB are a good match for your non-gaming build
Core i7 860 & GIGABYTE GA-P55-UD3R combo deal
RAM: 4GB to start out with P55 MB

Take a close look at the CoolerMaster RC-690 case

Your missing a DVD drive and an OS.

Also, a Samsung Spinpoint F3 HDD would be better as it is cheaper and faster.
