which is the better out of these 2? :

compaq cq5226
windows 7 home premium 64 bit
2gb ddr3 ram
pentium dual core e5300 2.6ghz(800mhz FSB 2mb cache)
intel gma x4500hd integrated graphics


packard bell imedia 4520x
windows 7 home premium 64 bit
3gb ddr2 ram
intel core 2 quad q8300 2.5ghz(1333 mhz FSB 4mb cache)
nvidia geforece 7050 integrated graphics

will be used mainly for internet etc etc. also, for some games, will either play dedent games?

It doesn't really matter because you will be gfx bottlenecked in gaming with either system. Hence, get whichever is cheaper.

I would wait until next year when there will be 32nm CPU released.

we have been bought the compaq for xmas, but i have seen the packard bell one in pc world for £50 more, including a higher spec monitor.(the compaq also comes with monitor)

Also, i have heard that 2gb isn't enough for windows 7 64 bit, and the processor with ddr 3 is suspect?

If i get a graphics card, will i be able to play the more recent games
