Nothing happens when i click set up network

has anyone ever figured this out? when i click on set up nework nothing happens. when i click on connect to network nothing happens

We could use a few more details. Should I assume this is Windows 7? Do you have administrator privileges (you need them to make network changes)?

I am having the same problem with vista. Can't set up new connection or connect to a network, no net works show, My laptop and ps3 have no problem finding networks, my pc knows there are networks available but none show, my linksys adapter is up to date and functioning properly, I tried a belkin with same results. I have NO idea what's going on.
