Currently I'm stuck between the MSI GD65, and the ASUS P55D Evo. The MSI is a bit cheaper, but I've heard some bad things recently about the quality, and a lack of support. I'm still waffling between the i5, or an i7 860 for the CPU, I'll be doing 2 BFG 260's for video cards. I'm mostly using it for gaming, but not looking for massive overclocking. What do you guys think?

If you don't trust MSI, Asus and Gigabyte have other models that are cheaper than the P55D Evo while still supporting Crossfire/SLI. Check out the Asus P755D PRO or Gigabyte GA-P55-UD4P.

Since it's primary use is gaming, the I5 would be better in terms of price/performance.

Why do you want two GTX 260's in the first place? You'd need a 750W PSU and one of the mobo's I suggested for that. Whereas if you go instead for let's say a single ATI 5870, you'd only need a 550W PSU and a much cheaper mobo which would end up costing significantly less.

Because I already had 1 260, and I have the psu as well. So it's cheaper to buy another 260, than try to get a powerful single card.

Currently? god...an AMD X2? 5200 cpu, asus mb, can't remember the model,2 gigs ram, I have the 260 GTX, 750 watt psu (was looking forward for the sli config)

The difference as far as I can tell with the pro and the evo is 1 more ethernet cable, and a cmos clear button on the back. Also Newegg's deal on the evo and the intel chip is -35 (860) -30(750), while the pro is 30/25. So for 15 bucks the extra ethernet connection could be useful (my house is wired, no wireless)
