Phenom II x2 550 + 2x5770 bottlenecked?

i was wondering if the phenom II x2 550 will bottleneck the 5770 in xfire mode...

It should bottleneck.Every modern computer is full of bottleneck.

All you have to do is to play on max settings and If the frames drop below 30-35 then OC your CPU.
Bottleneck depends on the app/game you run.

in some applications/games, yes (ie GTA 4).
i dunno if the athlon 2 x4 will be slighty better because of +2 physical cores over your phenom 2.
also, i heard you can unlock the 2 cores of the phenom 2 x2. not quite sure. if you already have
your phenom, try researching to unlock it. if not, then at least get a quad core to limit your bottleneck issues.

thanks for the response..

im still planning between the 550be or the 620?

but ive red lots of reviews on the 550be that you can unlock the 2 cores.. but not sure..

or should i get the 620 wich is already a quad?

Ummm....Get the 620 IMO.
Cuz there is 25% chance that cores won't unlock on 550BE and there may be further stability issues due to unlocked cores.

620 is a good quad.Based on Phenom II architecture and OC pretty well.

If it strictly for gaming go with the 550BE it has the L3 cache and is easy to overclock. If you are more into multitasking get the X4 620.

I would say greater than 25%. If you want a quad buy a quad period.
