Hey guys,
I think its about time to get rid of my XFX 8800gtXXX. Although it has been a great card, seems a little outdated compared to the newer cards. I get 20-40 fps on Crysis on very high settings and 4XAA but not a steady 40. I am also going to get a 24 inch widescreen in the near future.

Now i Cant afford the best card in the world, such as the GTX 295, so i have narrowed it down to these 2 cards.

XFX GTX 260 Black Edition

Or

GTX 275-probably stock

Which one would you suggest? Now dont come here to suggest and ATI card, i wont get one!

Also i will get from XFX, since they has wonderful customer support and good products.

So tell me what you think!

The GTX275 is better, but why wont you get an ATI card? Their new 5850 offers better performance than a GTX285 for a little more than a GTX275. Oh and dont expect anything to play crysis on very high at 1920x1200 with better than 40 FPS average, especially not with 4x AA. Use a more reasonable game as your testing platform because high on crysis requires the same amount of GPU power as maxing everything else out.

40fps average is perfect. You dont need 60 or 70. Human eye cant even tell over 30.

the black edition is almost as fast as the 285 in many benchmarks, so i'd go with it.
why dont you get the ATI 5870 though?

A 4870 1GB is cheaper and faster than the 260GTX.

I simply asked which is better, GTX 260 or 275. I also said i dont care about ATI. Bench marks for the ATI 4870 and the GTX 260 for games such as Crysis, and World at War show the GTX get 10-20 fps more then the radeon card. But i made my decision i am getting the GTX 260 Black edition.
