Just had Guitar Hero bought for me for Christmas
The PC minimum system requirement is Intel Pentium Dual-Core 2.4GHz or AMD Athlon 4400

I have a Intel (R) Core (TM) 2 Duo CPU T5800@ 2.00 GHz in an Acer Aspire 7730. Does this mean my CPU is insufficient? Thanks

No, because if thats like most games, the Pentium in question is the older architecture, meaning your 2.0 GHz C2D is still faster than that Pentium. If its talking about the current 45nm Pentium's that use the exact same architecture as the C2D series with less cache, than you might be out of luck.
