Hey so I just bought a new computer and found out the graphics card sucks for gaming can anyone reccomend a decent one? I was thinking about this one here but I'm not sure if it will work in my computer.

Thanks for your help.

That video card would work with your pc, but thats a pretty crappy video card. If you tell me the max you want to spend I'll tell you the best you can get.

Edit: wow sry bout that

We'll need to know:

He provided a link to what he bought...

The biggest thing holding you back is your power supply. It's weak so you have to look at a card that doesn't draw much power. Something like the 4650 maybe. Here's an example of one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6814102829

Well I don't really want to spend more then 100 bucks because I'm jobless now and ya you get the idea. What would I need to upgrade my power supply to?

This is a pretty good deal on a 9800gt, but if your power supply isnt at least 400w its not going to run it.

My school computer had it highlighted as a link (to an advertisement company (UGGH)).

@OP.

If the PSU is above 500W (I DO NOT TRUST PREBUILT PSU'S) and has a single PCI-E connector, go with a Radeon HD4850. If the PSU is not, then you will find the Radeon HD4670 to be an excellent choice.

Honestly for $25 more you can upgrade to the 4870 which is even better than the 9800gtx+

4870 $125

Your power supply can be upgraded to one of these:

OCZ gamerxstream 600w $30(refurbished, still one year warranty):

OCZ modxstream 780w $65 (3 year warranty), a bit overkill but still a good deal:
