What graphics cards of similar price are comparable or better than the BFG GeForce GTX 260 Maxcore 55 896MB GDDR3?

Are there any cards in the 8 or 9 series that compare or may be better? Is any BFG GeForce 8800 series card better than the GTX 260?

The GTX260 is better than any previous card, unlike the GTS250 it was actually based on the G200 architecture. If a GTX260 is going to cost you 200-250 consider a 5850, it has DX11 support, and beats a GTX285 in some cases, and will improve with better driver support.
