Best antivirus for xp

I am using avast but when i insert any external device,it does not shows the virus and the files in the device are converted into shortcuts.... please recommend me with an antivirus..../

Avast is one of the worst antiviruses .For xp use K7totalsecurity it scans even disk drives.

heh, as i have been using it norton anti-virus is the best one.It scans every disk drive.
