5850 should be good enough for max settings, below that get a 5770 or a 4850 at the least. 4850's are so cheap its almost pointless buying anything below it in price for gaming.

Yeah I'd go 4850...I have a 5850 and it's WAY overkill for Aion! But it depends on your resolution, I run 1920x1080, if you game at say 2560x1600, then a 5850 will not be overkill It is actually very dependent on res...let us know and we'll tell you for sure.
Actually, best question would be: What is your systems full specifications? And then others on this forum could answer your questions more accurately. Pluke
Well, as long as he has a decent dual core and 2-4 gigs of ram it should be easy to max at 1280x1024 with a 4850...Aion is just Cryengine 1 which isn't super demanding.
It might if he dropped an LS1 in it. You're equating a dual core-2-4gig system to a 1920's car and a 4850 to Nitrous Oxide? Really? I didn't say a 5870, I said a 4850. One of the better GPUs for the money. And if you read his other posts he is building a Regor x2 system. Grow up.
Heck, you dont need much to max out Aion. Any modern gpu will do it at 1280x1024. I run 1920x1200 and max it out with 1 8800gt around 80fps.......my 8800gt sli setup is not necessary, but sli enabled +100 fps.
I vote for the 4850 or 4870....still, might be overkill tho
