Changing windows xp log in screen

Hello,

I have been trying to change my XP log in screen and know what to do. Run, Regedit, HKEY_USERS, DEFAULT, DESKTOP. after that I should a folder that is missing, I have just re-installed and no folder for wallpaper... Any help would be awesome

I know some people (including me :) ) like to personalize their PC, but it would have been best to use a program to do that, not regedit!(U can mess stuff up) I also change my log in and log off screens often, but I use a little program called Chameleon XP.

Back to regedit, I assume you're refering to
HKEY USERS\DEFAULT\CONTROL PANEL\DESKTOP and the string Wallpaper
To get it back to normal just double click Wallpaper and on the Value data write (None) and click OK.
And if you also used Tile than you have to change the Tilewallpaper to value of 0.

I'm not getting the "after that I should a folder that is missing" part and U reinstalled what?
