Any one have any ideas i need to build a gameing computer for my friend he has about 350cash to spend, i am going to reuse his hd and memory, it's ddr 2, i also have some video cards that i don't use and 7950gx2 and 9800gt, i was thinking amd because i knwo theres a lot of new cpu that came out, he just whats to be able to play all the new games out there :fou:

This should do the trick. There are quad core and dual core CPUs that will run on this platform. Obviously the dual core is cheaper but I recommend you save up a bit more for the quad which puts you just a bit over your budget. If you can't get the money for the quad core the dual core should run all games but not as well.

I would not recommend a kuma based cpu, it is based on the phenom I cpus.

all of this depends on the fact that you can use ddr2 memory on am3 mb of course.

the AMD Athlon II X4 620 Propus looks like a winner will this cpu be fast anough to play new games
