More about graphics card working
  1. It could be anything. System specs?

Our standard checklist and troubleshooting thread:

  2. well i dont really know thw specs on this system i just got it like tht its a ddr2 motherboard with windows xp on it and it worked really well in the past
  3. Like jsc said, "no video" problems can be caused by any number of things. It most likely has nothing to do with your video card. Please perform ALL the steps in the checklist linked above and let us know how it goes. I'm guessing a stick of RAM may have failed. Try booting with each stick of RAM by itself (step #6 on the checklist).

You also need to tell us a little more about what exactly is happening. Do the fans spin? Can you hear the hard drives working? It's hard to help without having a clue what hardware we're working with. Is this an OEM system like Dell, HP, etc..., or is it a system that you or someone else made?
  4. well this system was obviously assembled cos there's aint no specified name on it and yes the fans do spin the one on the powersupply and the one on the processor im now realizing tht im not getting the click sound and it also appears that there's no sound coming from the hard drive but i do get lights in my mouse and keyboard my hard drive dont have the normal connection it uses a smaller cable
