im thinking about getting a desktop for christmas to play world of warcraft is there a way to hook on 1 modem because my mom already has a desktop and she dosnt want to pay extra money on both computers every month will e need to do that? email me at skate_vans99@yahoo.com

First, what type of modem? DSL or Cable? Second, unless the modem is also a router you would need a router to share the connection.
