Hi all,

First, my PC specs are as follows:

Win 7 RC 32 bit
2.4 GHz core2duo
8800gt KO
asus p5b
a-data ram (4GB)

Anyway, I had a CRT monitor that I've used for 2 years since I built my computer. Recently I aquired an LCD Acer x213h widescreen monitor. I plugged it in using VGA. I have zero issues until I start playing Modern Warfare 2. After roughly 30 minutes of playing, my game freezes and green (along with a couple other colors) small rectangles appear distorting the game, followed by my computer restarting itself. Once rebooted I am given this error message:

Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
OS Version: 6.1.7100.2.0.0.256.1
Locale ID: 1033

Additional information about the problem:
BCCode: 116
BCP1: 853A2008
BCP2: 93EC21A0
BCP3: 00000000
BCP4: 00000002
OS Version: 6_1_7100
Service Pack: 0_0
Product: 256_1

This happened roughly 6 times over the course of an evening. I plugged my old CRT monitor back in figuring it may be a hardware conflict. After that was done. I went to play my game again. I played for a couple hours straight and had no issues.

When I had my Acer plugged in, I had this issue before I updated the driver. I eventually updated the driver hoping this would help, (I also made sure my video card was updated, which it already was) but it did not. I'm back to using my CRT monitor because I'm not going to deal with my computer restarting. Again, it only does this when I'm in game and MW2 is the only game I play.

I also ran a Windows memory diagnostic which came back with no issues.

Any help would be appreciated. I would LOVE to use my new monitor without issues!!
