I am fail to install window Xp on sciz hard drive

Make sure you have the dell drivers or the dell recovery cd to install. I had problems trying to install windows xp without service pack 2. Also try using just one stick of memory. Try each one individually. Memtest will tell you if you have ram problems; it's a free download. You can use it if you finish the installation. If your hardrive is bad, it won't format.
