Have two computers, identical motherboards: HP Pavillion a6110n and a6230n. Will probably upgrade memory to 4 gig on both. What is a low cost graphic card (preferably ATI Radeon) that will help memory usage more efficiently and do tasks that aren't overwhelming. Do some photo editing, minor graphics, newsletters, cards, flyers, etc.

Motherboard is identical on both: AsusM@N68-LA. Not much expansion, but have one PCI, one PCI Express x16 and PCI Express x1 available.

Will upgrade to Win 7. Vista sucks just like Win Millenimum did.

Appreciate practical suggestions. :p

I'd suggest you go to a site like NewEgg, go to the Video card section, then use the advanced search filters to zero in on cards that are compatible with your expansion slot. If you're looking for low cost I think an NVIDIA 9xxx or ATI HD 45xx would do nicely.
