Pc2-4300 (266Mhz)

Hello,
originally my Notebook came with 2x 512MB of DDR2 pc2-4300(266Mhz), than I have changes to 2x1GB, works fine. Now I ask whether I can make even one more step to change to 2x 2GB (because I wanna change OS to Windows 7- 64bit) Is there anyone who can tell me will it work - or where is the crux ?

Hi newcomer and welcome to the Tom's hardware forum.

What notebook do you have? DELL, HP, ACER....You need check the manual of the notebook to know if you can upgrade the RAM and what specifications must have that RAM.
