  1. The video card and mobo support that monitor.

Any reason you picked the GeForce 9800GT over the Radeon HD 4850? SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 4850 512MB $95 plus $10 rebate or MSI OC Radeon HD 4850 1GB $115 plus $15 rebate

I think that PSU with it's 2 80mm cooling fans isn't such a great bargain compared with a PSU like this BFG Tech GS-550 550W with it's single 140mm fan.

If you don't mind playing the rebate game you can get a really good deal on the OCZ Fatal1ty OCZ550FTY 550W PSU $45 after rebate and promo code discount 10% off w/ promo code cz10, ends 10/18

    Everything else looks good.
Be sure to let us know how everything goes.
  2. thx a lot! i just wanna stick w nvidia...
  3. roswell aint too good on making power supplies this is much better http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817341016

that hard drive is a low power low speed one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822152181 this is one of the fastest out right now

as he said a 4850/4770 will out perform a 9800gt by some margin

    any particular reason for that?
dragon based system preform better than amd cpu+chipset+nvidia gpu
  5. Agreed man, I've got an nvidia card myself, a 9600gt I'd bought last year at a good price, but for current pricing, 4850 is a little better card.

The GTS 250 is only $10-$20 more after rebates.
  7. Can u guys spec out a system for me? Ok we can go wit ATI.
  8. I'm with WR2.
but if you still want a build the how to sticky post in the New Build System
  9. thanks a lot!

How about the MOtherboard? I don't overclock at all.
  10. the MB is ok. will do the work
  11. Also btw can you guys give me some suggestion as far as moniter goes? I just want 20+...less than 180$ preferably. I just use it for watching videos.
  12. I think I will go HD4850 then.

You want to replace the ASUS VW224 1680x1050 monitor with a 1980x1080 monitor?
