Motherboard+Q6600

Can I install my Q6600 on
Gigabyte EX-UD5 ?

Probably not, but there are a few with EX and UD5 in the name, so we will need a few more details. You need a socket 775 motherboard, and I think there is only an AMD socket motherboard, a P55 motherboard, and a X58 motherboard. None of these are of use to you. Can't be certain though, so do you have any further info, or even better, a link to one you might be looking at?

Depends on the socket of the motherboard. The Q6600 uses LGA 775. If the motherboard is the EX58-UD5 then it would be socket LGA1366. If you want a Gigabyte motherboard you can search for a compatible one on their site
