Coming from mostly gaming machines, I am not sure on the requirements of workstation based gpus. Anyone know if the Quadro FX 1800 series requires additional power in a desktop aside from what the pci-express slot provides? I have an existing workstation that I would like to add one of these too, but the power is pretty minimal in this standard Dell machine.

Nvidia shows max power draw of 59 watts, don't know which "standard" Dell you have, but even one with a 300 watt psu shouldn't have a problem with that card.
