HELP...new system crapped out after 5 days...no post

New system; had it running for four days. Yesterday, acted weird...kept freezing for a second or less, every few seconds. Today, rebooted and had no OS load, tried again and it loaded. Later today, no post...clicks on for less than a sec then shuts down. There's 4 leds for APCI and the top one is lit RED...it's either S3/S4, or it is S0 (manual conflicts with board silkscreening. Here's the components:

mem Patriot 8gb 2,000mhz (pc16000)
boot drive Corsair Vertex 120gb SSD
storage drives 6 1.5tb samsungs, raid 5
gpu Sapphire 5870

I've no idea what to check. I really need a direction to go in. Fried ps? Temps are cool; system not OC'd yet at all.

Read it....I'm looking for information on what the red light on s3/s4 means. Thanks for the pointer though; much appreciated. Any ideas on the significance of that LED? Checked the manual; doesn't elaborate. Checked Gigabyte's site; can't find anything about it.
