Sounds like boot.ini is corrupt. Got Windows CD to fixmbr ?

Are you booting the same system or trying to load this on a different computer? If a different computer, unless they are identical or the hardware is very close, it won't work. Plus you won't have a legal version of Windows on there as you'll be running two computers on the same license.

If you're trying to boot from the cloned disk on the same PC, go over the instructions again, when you clone a drive you should not be seeing anything from Acronis after that, you either did something not right during the clone or you are booting off an Acronis boot disk or something.
