Having more cache important or rpm

Hello,
i would like to know for hard drive, have cache is more important for or having rpm? As my main purpose is for storing, watching movies, adding and removing.
looking at seagate 1Tb with 32 cache and 7200rpm and WD green 1Tb 64cache with 5600rpm.

Any modern drive no matter what the speed or rpm will be fine for watching movies. All of them have transfer rates far in excess of what you need to play a movie back.

If you're doing a lot of movie copying, though, you want a drive with a fast transfer rate (because movie files tend to be fairly large). For that, getting a drive with a higher RPM will be a lot more important than one with a big cache.

Even among high RPM drives there are fast ones and slow ones, depending on the density of their platters. If you want to get the very best performance, check the transfer rate specifications for the drive on the manufacturer's web site.

Definitely go with the 7200RPM drive, it will be noticeably quicker. Platter density definitely does matter as well, but in your example the 7200 with perform better.

simply put, the WD green would be more energy efficient and quieter, the seagate will be louder and less energy efficient, the buffer shouldn't make a difference unless your gaming, which it doesn't sound like you are, but by adding and removing do you mean editing or deleting and coping?

yes i delete and move, and copying make duplicate and so on. for games not at the moment, as my 1 Tb will be mainly for storing, unless i increase my whole system for playing games.
