Is it legal to run an XP from a usb external disk ?

I believe that you can only have 1 copy of any given XP license running at any given time. If you were to uninstall XP from computer A nad install it on computer B it is legal so I do not see any problems with a USB drive, provided you are only running 1 copy at any point in time per license.
