Using XP sp2 with sata hdd

I want to built a system based around the Gigabyte EP45-UD3L and I want to use XP as my preferred os installed on a sata hdd. Is this possible without the hassle of using a floppy drive to install sata drivers?

You would not need SATA drivers. Probably not since Windows 95 or some such

You can however slipstream SP3 into the OS before starting, and that will ensure maximum compatibility and fewer drivers needing to be installed.
