How to install old dvd roms on new computers

Hi, I have an old DVD-rom and burner that are IDE drives.

I just bought a new computer and built it. The motherboard is Sabertooth 990fx.

I want to know how I can install this dvd-rom. I only see sata connections.

I can't find any IDE connection on the board. Is it possible for me to still install the old ide drives? would I need a converter cable?

Do a Bing or Google search for "IDE to SATA adapter".

Personally, I would just spend 15-20 dollars more and just buy a SATA DVD burner, or an external USB DVD burner.

IDE is old and slower technology! Do as Dereck47 suggests and get a SATA DVD - around $20.

OMG why old CRAP in a new rig? Dump that rubbish and build the system properly with new parts seriously
