I build a computer for a friend using a sapphire 4850 and we are getting an odd graphic error. We get this while running Eve, secondlife and playing videos. Here is a screen shot of the parallel blue lines that we are getting. I've updated his drivers from sapphire website. What could be causing this and how do I fix it??

The image is so small I can't even see the graphical anomaly.

The first question is what is your PSU?

is this a better picture or do you need a bigger one?

Can you test the card in another computer?

Also, what temperatures does the card run at according to the CCC?

I have monday off and I was thinking of taking my pc over there and swapping cards. I just read a post that says it's probable a bad card. I hope newegg will rma it for me.

Newegg is one of the best at returns so if the card is borked you're in luck.

I'm out of luck it's been over 30 days. I'll try sapphire.
